ALL ABOUT THIS BLOG

We are starting this blog out of boredom-not boredom in our love for each other, but boredom with dating. Typical date-nights in Evansville, Indiana include going out to eat, then seeing a movie. If you really want to spice things up, you might see the movie first and THEN go out to eat. Amanda recently made a purchase at the local Barnes and Noble that included a deck of cards titled '52 Great Cheap Dates' by Lynn Gordon. The purpose of this deck of cards is to spice up dating without hurting your budget. Each card has a different cheap date idea written and illustrated on the front. Some of the ideas are goofy and cheesy, while others might be taken a little more seriously. According to Gordon, all you need for a great date is a little imagination, the right attitude, and a delightful playmate. We have at least 2 out of 3 of these things most days, so we're giving it a shot.

WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT FROM THIS BLOG

We will be drawing a random card out of the deck each week and completing the date idea given, without complaints!
Other things to expect are:
  • Weekly updates
  • Amanda's viewpoint on each date
  • Justin's viewpoint on each date
  • Photos, of course!

We are willing and excited to explore this new, creative side of dating and look forward to sharing it with you!

  1. wonderful! I love it. I actually found that same deck of cards in my night stand the other night. I'm glad you two are putting them to use - unlike what we did.
