AMANDA
When we first got this card I was so excited!! It sounded like so much fun. The more we dissected this card, the more changes we had to make to it. We followed the card's directions and did not plan a day for this date. This made it really difficult to have a good time for this date!! I think we are learning that planning is key to making these dates really work, even if it tells us to be spontaneous about it all. Not planning a certain day/time for this date allowed our schedules to take over. Jobs and life took over and before we knew it, the week had gone by without any free time to just 'take off' somewhere. We demolished the rest of some twizzlers that were lying around and we drank some caffeinated drinks to keep us energized. We drove around for about an hour and a half and we decided to call it a night.
I couldn't have asked for a better date :). It was completely spontaneous and that's the way we like it. If only it weren't so cold we could have gotten out and looked at the stars. Maybe next time. I'm looking forward to the rest of the dates.
